Job Overview
The Purchasing Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes by managing the planning, purchasing, and material management functions. This strategic position requires effective cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and a strong analytical mindset to meet business objectives and optimize inventory levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the Purchasing Team to ensure their development and achievement of business objectives.
  • Ensure efficient material flow while optimizing inventory levels in compliance with customer, legal, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure on-time material deliveries through performance indicators, supporting Purchasing Specialists in resolving supply issues.
  • Develop proactive strategies for business improvement, refining forecasts in collaboration with the Supply Chain Department.
  • Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain Team to assess, implement, and optimize inventory strategies (MOQ levels, lead times, safety stock) and supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage supply chain disruptions by developing contingency plans and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Apply company purchasing strategies, including ordering policies, ABCD management, and month-end closing processes.
  • Align material planning with production schedules and communicate effectively with planning, logistics, and production teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Oversight indirect purchasing, covering operational and CAPEX purchases in line with company policies and strategies.
  • Participate in budget planning and oversee budget utilization.
