Key Responsibilities
">As the IT Senior Analyst, Power BI, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering high-quality reports and dashboards using modern data visualization tools.
- Building analytical measures, developing user-friendly reports, and governing the reporting suite to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across functions to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of dashboards and reports, ensuring scalability and reliability for enterprise-wide use.
- Establishing best practices for report design and data visualization, focusing on clarity, usability, and business impact.
- Govern access and usage policies for the reporting suite, ensuring alignment with data governance frameworks and security standards.
- Supporting training and upskilling initiatives to empower business users to effectively interact with and leverage the reporting suite.
- Partnering with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure data sources are clean, consistent, and aligned with reporting needs.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in data visualization and analytics to continuously improve the reporting ecosystem.
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, with a focus on creating user-friendly, impactful visualizations.
- Experience in building advanced calculations, measures, and KPIs to meet complex business requirements.
- Knowledge of governance principles and understanding of how they apply to reporting and visualization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills: transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Detailed orientation: managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills: collaborating with stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working with data warehouses, databases, and tools such as SQL, DAX for data manipulation and preparation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field; certifications in visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are a plus.
