Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leader in the life sciences industry, is seeking a highly skilled Epidemiologist to join our Data Analytics team at Evidera. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the design of observational epidemiologic studies, working closely with data analysts to analyze data and interpret results.


Key Responsibilities:

Study Design and Analysis

  • Coordinate the design of retrospective, cross-sectional, and/or prospective studies for review by the Principal Investigator.
  • Co-author project proposals and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of drafts in 'near completion' status for review by senior staff.

Consulting Expectations

  • Regularly interact with clients, including on calls and potentially face-to-face meetings, to present findings at scientific meetings.
  • Contribute to strategic thinking around demonstrating product value and derive/refine research questions/hypotheses/recommendations relevant to addressing client's research objectives.

Requirements

  • PhD or MSc with significant related experience in quantitative methods in epidemiology.
  • Experience with European databases and a good understanding of relevant methodology and statistics.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Stata, R) and MS Office software.
