Job Description:

Serving as an expert in aircraft component design, our team seeks a skilled Aerospace Structures Specialist to join us at Airbus Helicopters Polska Sp. z o.o.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sizing and structural analysis of aircraft components during various phases of the design process
  • Develop and evaluate trade-off analyses for different design solutions
  • Perform linear and nonlinear structure analysis using the Finite Element Method (FEM)
  • Analyze and assess structural strength, stability, damage tolerance, and fatigue
  • Prepare technical documentation and present results to the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in structural/dynamic analysis and FEM tools (HyperWorks/Simcenter and Nastran/Samcef)
  • Proficiency in standard stress methods and knowledge of metallic and composite materials
  • Programming skills and proficiency in CAD are advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with excellent team spirit and autonomy
  • Very good command of English (B2 level or higher), with German or French being an advantage

Salary Range: 60,000 - 80,000 EUR per annum, commensurate with experience.
