Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Purchaser to join our Remanufacturing team at LKQ Europe. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality technical automotive parts, with a focus on core products such as engines, gearboxes, turbos, and brake calipers.

You will maintain existing supplier relationships remotely and actively seek new suppliers in Europe to optimize the supply chain. You will work closely with the Senior Core Buyer to determine purchasing strategies and ensure smooth processing of purchase orders and deliveries.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in Europe, including car dismantlers and core brokers.
• Proactively identify and address stock shortages by finding alternative solutions.
• Conduct thorough research with suppliers to source high-quality automotive technical parts.
• Ensure accurate matching of part numbers and codes between Emotive Reman products and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Senior Core Buyer to determine purchasing strategies and coordinate product purchases.
• Process purchase orders in Business Central and oversee delivery checks.
• Manage administrative tasks related to deliveries, including coordination with suppliers.
• Source new suppliers online, establish initial contact, and negotiate agreements in collaboration with the Senior Buyer.
• Compile and analyze reports on purchased core parts and supplier data.
