We are seeking a skilled Principal ERP SCM Solution Consultant to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our Applications Solution Engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of cloud ERP SCM solutions for our customers.


About the Role



  • Lead pre-sales activities for complex SCM-focused software opportunities, including discovery meetings, configuring demo software, and demonstrating product functionality.
  • Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, leveraging your business leadership and customer advisory expertise.
  • Design, present, and articulate innovative SCM solutions to customers, leveraging your industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Represent Oracle as a credible expert, providing current and new product information through workshops and customer or industry events.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of ECEMEA Applications through active participation in the SE community.

Requirements and Qualifications



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Innovative thinking and ability to translate complex customer needs into business solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills, with the ability to self-manage and work effectively in a team.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales or implementation consulting for SCM projects or in a SCM role.
  • Strong knowledge of SCM-related topics and Oracle's cloud strategy.
  • Sales methodology knowledge, including processes and disciplines.
  • Ability to apply technology to drive innovation and experience in utilizing design thinking and customer journey mapping.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent desirable.

What You Will Do



  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle solutions to client business challenges.
  • Facilitate customer solution understanding through journey mappings, workshops, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle.
  • Work with sales to define and execute a winning strategy for enterprise customers.
  • Exhibit a deep knowledge of SCM business processes across one or more industries and cloud solutions.
  • Network and communicate effectively, managing senior stakeholder relationships and building trusted adviser status within customer organizations.
  • Innovate and tell stories for business gain, thinking laterally and taking the best from other related industries.
  • Be passionate and proficient in digital cloud applications, contagious in transmitting enthusiasm to those you interact with.

You will be responsible for formulating and leading pre-sales technical and functional support activities for prospective clients and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
