We are seeking an experienced General Ledger/Fixed Assets Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our accounting operations and financial reporting.

About the Team:

This role is part of the internal accounting department at Polpharma Biologics. Our team consists of specialists responsible for Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Tax. We are an in-house finance team, ensuring full compliance and accuracy in financial operations within the company.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Process accounting operations within the Record to Report (RTR) domain, encompassing General Ledger and subledgers.
  • Conduct reviews of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements to identify errors and perform variance analysis.
  • Perform reconciliation of selected balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Perform month-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Handle Fixed Assets accounting, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Administer banking systems and participate in bank reporting by setting up and updating reports.
  • Process bank deposits.
  • Prepare various reports for insurance and guarantee purposes.
  • Compile and submit reports to national authorities.
  • Cooperate with other departments, including Controlling and ESG.
  • Execute selected internal control procedures within the GL and Fixed Assets areas to maintain compliance and accuracy.
