Junior Lease Accounting Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports and analyses in accordance with international accounting standards (ASC 842 and IFRS 16)
  • Administer reporting software – CoStar (record lease contracts into the system)
  • Verify accuracy of input data for Lease Templates received from Ecolab organization
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Lease Accounting processes within Global Business Services
  • Ensure compliance with internal Lease Accounting controls
  • Collaborate with team members and Global Business Services to ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required
  • Respond to inquiries from Local Organization
  • Prepare templates for Big Vendors Leases
  • Communicate with global stakeholders regarding data completeness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent accounting courses
  • Excellent English language skills (written and oral)
  • Positive approach to problem-solving and introducing new solutions
  • Good computer skills, especially in MS Office and Excel
  • User skills in CoStar software are an asset
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment
  • Flexibility to work in flexible hours during month-end close
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities
