About the Role:
As the Procure to Pay Team Leader, you will oversee the accounts payable function across EMEA countries, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will also lead change and transformation initiatives, develop and implement systems, procedures, and policies, and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Maintain good relations with suppliers, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
- Create and maintain up-to-date process documentation and SOPs to simplify and automate processes and achieve cooperation among teams.
- Hire, train, and mentor accounts payable staff to guarantee a high-performing team.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
- Oversee the monthly closing of financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and reports.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.
- Team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Proficient English - spoken and written minimum B2.
