About this Opportunity:

This is a unique chance to join our High Performance Computing team as a Solution Architect/Engineer. You will be responsible for driving the architecture and engineering of the HPC/scheduler configuration, optimizing scientific workloads, and ensuring the HPC architecture meets current and future requirements.

Your Key Tasks:

  1. Develop the architecture and engineering of the HPC/scheduler configuration, working closely with the informatics team and business stakeholders.
  2. Create tooling for reporting and observability, providing users with a clear view of the performance of their jobs and the platform.
  3. Evaluate new technologies in the area of scale out computing for scientific demands, ensuring the HPC architecture remains relevant and effective.
  4. Contribute to the development of automation, training needs, and operational process development within the global HPC team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HPC scheduler knowledge, including LSF, Slurm, or Gridengine.
  • Expertise in HPC cluster build and management tools, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Proven ability to work in agile teams (SAFe/Scrum), collaborate, and influence effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
