As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's business outcomes by influencing successful contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration, with a strong understanding of regulations such as the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and other agency regulations. You will be responsible for analyzing significant and unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Influencing successful business outcomes in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new and continuing programs.
  • Providing business, contractual, and risk mitigation strategy guidance.
  • Protecting the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions.
  • Utilizing working knowledge of regulations, including UCC, FAR, and other agency regulations.
  • Managing the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process, and overall contract administration.
  • Establishing and maintaining primary contractual interface with the customer.
  • Maximizing cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Ideally, you will have a wealth of experience and knowledge of job areas, with a specialty within the discipline. Experience in sourcing, purchasing, cooperation with international logistics, transportation companies, and customs agents is highly desirable. SAP ERP knowledge is an asset, and fluency in Polish and English is required.
