Role Overview

The Finance Team Leader – AP & Expenses, Payments position oversees a team in GSC, supporting multiple business units and locations. This role actively contributes to the development of the GSC, ensures the team meets Service Level Agreements and customer expectations, and drives operational effectiveness and efficiency. The Finance Team Leader resolves problems and develops the team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the team's daily operational and tactical performance
  • Evaluate compliance with agreed processes and applicable policies and procedures
  • Manage the escalation process, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Develop and track key performance indicators to assess team performance and service delivery
  • Collaborate with GSC Management to understand customer needs and implement new solutions
  • Support the identification of business requirements for new solutions and services with the Transitions, Continuous Improvement, and Technology teams
  • Provide in-depth analysis of process performance and support business decisions with data-driven insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements and optimize work organization, including technology implementations
  • Manage people, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development
  • Implement new technologies and ensure seamless integration

About You

  • Excellent English language skills are essential
  • Strong people management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment
  • Relevant accounting or related qualifications are preferred
  • Thorough understanding of finance processes and control frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills
