About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at HSBC Service Delivery. As a key member of our Cyber Security Technology function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery and operation of our global security strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of our global security strategy, ensuring compliance with HSBC Information Security policies and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and representation on all security-related matters, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of our enterprise-wide and regional IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure the effective management of information security requirements, ensuring compliance and measures are in place to mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain visibility of our IT security risk profile, exposures, and control effectiveness, providing robust challenge to stakeholders when information security risk appetites are breached.
Requirements
  • Wide range of cyber experience, with a specific focus on Data Security and DLP Engineering & Operations.
  • Experience of building, deploying, and using tooling to support Data Security strategies.
  • Proven experience of successful operational management, utilizing relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery.
  • A minimum of 2 years Cyber experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Promoted and led best practice in risk and compliance management in a similar organization.
