At Provident Polska, we are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineering Manager to join our team.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to own and maintain performance test baselines for all application stacks. You will report on deviations on a release-by-release basis and collaborate with clients and technical teams to create performance test strategies. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing performance test cycles, working with delivery and technical teams to identify improvements that ensure applications meet performance requirements. Additionally, you will guide a performance test team by managing their work on a day-to-day basis and keeping stakeholders and technical teams up to date on progress.
Key Responsibilities- Own and maintain performance test baselines for all application stacks and report on deviations on a release-by-release basis.
- Collaborate with clients and technical teams to create performance test strategies, including approach and tooling based on clearly defined non-functional requirements.
- Assume the planning and execution of performance test cycles, working with delivery and technical teams to identify improvements that will ensure applications meet performance requirements.
- Guide a performance test team by managing their work on a day-to-day basis and keep stakeholders and technical teams up to date on progress.
- Implement and maintain performance testing platforms/frameworks.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of the application and architecture in detail to establish baselines/benchmark metrics of mixed OnPrem and Cloud platforms.
- The ability to work independently and be self-supportive.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to query logs, diagnose, and correct issues with infrastructure and config.
- Extensive practical experience with JMETER, C#, and Java.
- Previous AWS experience (EC2 / RDS / S3 / IAM).
- Strong hands-on experience with API Testing (REST/SOAP via Postman and SoapUI).
