Compliance AML Risk Management Senior Expert

About the JobThe Compliance AML Risk Management Senior Analyst position is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities. This involves working closely with functional partners and key stakeholders to address emerging issues, analyzing data, and developing strategies to maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, leveraging information from regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy updates to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Analyze comparative data and prepare reports on AML risk assessments, monitoring trends and issues that may impact the organization's risk profile.
- Develop effective action plans to address compliance and control issues, weighing alternatives and balancing competing priorities.
- Create and refine AML Compliance Risk Management (ACRM) standards and policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to management based on analysis of risk information.
- Support training and development initiatives, sharing knowledge and expertise with new recruits and colleagues.
- Identify potential Money Laundering schemes and collaborate with relevant teams to mitigate risks.
This role requires a strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in AML, including preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of AML requirements applicable to banks.
- Fluency in English and Polish languages.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
