Global Category Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Category Leader to join our team at Solaris Laser sp. z o. o. in Poland. As a key member of our Global Sourcing department, you will be responsible for the strategic definition and management of a sourcing category (Mechanical parts, components) for all Markem-Imaje's product range.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy to meet supplier performance standards.
• Lead high-level business and strategic negotiations with senior management and key internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of sourcing plans.
• Manage and optimize direct material spend purchasing activities under defined categories.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and international requirements.

• Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred) or related field, with a strong background in business administration, purchasing, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in an industrial and international environment, with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to partner with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, with a focus on strategic planning, execution, and results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems, with SAP experience a plus.
• Fluency in Polish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
