We're seeking a seasoned Senior Java Software Architect to join our Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow. As a critical member of our technology ecosystem, you will play a pivotal role in extending the capabilities of our mission-critical platform and enhancing existing technologies.

Your Role

As a Senior Java Software Architect, you will contribute to driving business results through technical leadership, impacting a product or group of products. Your expertise will shape the future of our emergency call handling platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation and meets the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and reliable software architecture for our emergency call handling platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop technical solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Drive technical debt reduction and ensure code quality, refactoring existing code as needed.
  • Educate and mentor junior engineers in software craftsmanship principles, promoting best practices and industry standards.
  • Craft compelling narratives to influence product technology decisions based on current trends and market demands.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and microservices architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of distributed systems, REST APIs, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, or related fields.
  • Excellent English language skills, allowing for efficient communication with global teams and customers.
  • A strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of €100,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including private medical coverage, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, and more.
