Job Description
We are looking for a Strategic Buyer with German expertise to be responsible for strategic purchases, sourcing activities, contacting suppliers, organizing tenders, selecting the best offers, and negotiations.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing a selected Supplier Base, optimizing it towards sustainable Cost Savings and Efficiency improvements along the Source to Contract Process.
In addition, the successful candidate will implement a robust interface as a Service Provider towards local Sourcing requirements, maintain Sourcing Systems up to date (Ariba/UP6), create Sourcing Synergies between regions and businesses, and support existing cross-regional/business Sourcing & Maintenance Initiatives.
Furthermore, the chosen candidate will conduct/market intelligence analysis and Supplier Performance evaluation, as well as support local Purchasing departments with administrative/transactional work upon request.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing/procurement
- Very good knowledge of German and English (min. B2)
- Negotiation skills and experience in business negotiations
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (min. 3 days from the office in Wrocław, max. 2 days remotely)
- Nice to have: knowledge of SAP environment (UP6/Ariba)
