Job Description

The Scheme Compliance Specialist is a critical role within our risk management team, responsible for ensuring that our company maintains its compliance standards with card scheme networks and payment schemes. As a specialist, you will be responsible for leading a team of investigators who evaluate merchant activities against scheme rules and regulations.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing guidance and support to team members as they navigate complex cases, coordinating scheme audits and FMP reviews, and ensuring collaboration across risk management teams to update and upgrade onboarding and monitoring procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in navigating complex cases
  • Coordinate scheme audits and FMP reviews, tracking completion of findings
  • Ensure collaboration across risk management teams to update and upgrade onboarding and monitoring procedures
  • Register incidents and administer non-compliance; regularly report potential losses and penalties to the risk committee

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, finance or related field
  • Previous experience in risk management, compliance or related area, preferably within the payment industry
  • Full working proficiency in English
