Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team in Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the profitability of projects, collaborating with project teams, clients, and internal departments to ensure financial performance and high-quality clinical research project management services.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Review and understand client agreements and convert them into Innovaderm's internal cost structure.
  • Create and configure projects in project management and financial systems.
  • Prepare and upload project budgets and related amendments impacting scope and/or timeline in the project management tool.
  • Participate in identifying and pricing out-of-scope services.

Key Responsibilities:

Project and Budget Setup
  • Ensure revenue and expenses are recognized based on Canadian GAAP and contractual requirements.
  • Review actual project revenues and costs compared to budget and forecast, identifying variances and their causes.
  • Prepare and present detailed project financial reports, including profit and loss statements, financial projections, and accrual reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records of project data.
Revenue/Expenses Recognition and Project Reconciliation

As part of the month-end schedule:

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of project balance sheet accounts.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients on any questions related to invoicing.
Invoice Management
  • Review project invoicing and provide expertise as needed.
  • At the end of the study, ensure all invoices were produced and paid.
Collaboration with Project Team
  • Work closely with project managers to understand project requirements and financial implications.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams, helping them manage budgets and control costs.
