We are seeking an experienced Product Designer Leader to join our team. As a key member of the Services squad, you will work closely with team leadership to strengthen UX design within the organization and ensure Backbase remains a market leader.
You will be recognized as an expert UX Designer within the squads, acting as an ambassador for best practice UX Design when working with Customers. You will actively contribute to customer success projects; continually looking for new ideas and driving a higher quality experience for users.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, excellent theoretical knowledge with practical experience with one or more areas of UX / UI Design, Interaction Design, User Interface Design, HTML / CSS or User Research. They should also have 2-5 years experience in the Financial services industry, solid knowledge about products and services offered by the Financial services industry (Digital Banking), and experience in the lifecycle of a software implementation project.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong understanding of UX design principles and human-centered design methodologies;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
