Cloud Engineer with GCP and Containerization Expert

We are looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join our team in Cracow. As a DevOps expert with experience in platform and systems architecture, you will be responsible for designing and implementing distributed containerized platforms in production.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the smooth delivery of changes to production daily;
  • Building and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Reviewing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance and efficiency;
  • Supporting knowledge sharing in the GCP space to help the whole team develop skills to support our infrastructure;
  • Collaborating with a globally distributed team to provide round-the-clock support and development of our products;

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider development team and product owners to build solutions suited to business needs and provide production support for the day-to-day running of the products you are building.

We require:

  • A strong understanding of technology layers (storage, OS, network, database, application);
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and serverless models (e.g., Cloud Run);
  • Proficiency in Bash and GitHub; Experience with cloud infrastructure/services (especially GCP);
  • Excellent communication skills across a global organization;
  • Proven ability to triage under pressure and make priority judgments;
  • Technically inquisitive with an interest in modern engineering disciplines;
  • Customer-focused with strong service delivery skills;
  • Ability to make practical business decisions in ambiguous situations;
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and production support;
