Our company is seeking a seasoned IT Security Consultant to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will provide expert advice on cyber security to support the organization's overall security efforts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed security assessments of custom mobile applications, widely understood infrastructure and networks, web services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that security testing requirements are met.
  • Develop and apply advanced testing methodologies to evaluate business functionality and technology risks.
  • Code and demonstrate basic proof-of-concept exploits of vulnerabilities when required.
  • Assist with coordinating security testing projects, including developing test plans, test cases and test reports.
  • Evaluate product release risk and complexity, and identify potential misuse scenarios.
  • Assist with tracking, remediation, and risk acceptance for identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Support planning, test execution and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Evaluate new security testing technologies and provide recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with security industry information sources and events.
Requirements:
  • Hold a deep understanding of platform security models for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of prior hands-on experience in penetration testing.
  • Exhibit excellent understanding of platform-specific security risks and common vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of penetration testing of widely understood infrastructure, web and mobile technologies.
  • Display strong TCP/IP knowledge and understanding of security implications.
  • Show web application testing experience.
  • Ability to explain security functionality from first principles.
  • Ability to adapt and apply information to new scenarios and technologies.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of applied use of cryptography in application development.
