Electricity Transmission Expert

At Hays Poland sp. z o.o., we are seeking an experienced Grid Connection Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing grid connections from opportunity identification to project completion, including greenfield development and acquired projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, including distribution and transmission, as well as experience in renewable energy project development, preferably with implementation experience. You will also need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with grid operators (DSOs and TSOs), conduct capacity assessments and scouting for network capacity, and evaluate new technologies, including storage, for incorporation into projects.

You will appraise the technical and commercial aspects of grid connections, identify opportunities for cost reductions, and implement risk management strategies. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, as well as strong knowledge of electrical systems, including distribution and transmission, and CAD/GIS skills.
