About the Position

The Credit Controller role involves managing a portfolio of live, current, and overdue debit balance customer accounts. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional services while ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient management of our product portfolio.

  • Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Managing customer accounts and uploading invoices to external portals or sending them via email.
  2. Regularly reviewing assigned accounts and working with customers to secure timely payment.
  3. Resolving disputes and queries to ensure seamless collection of outstanding receivables.
  4. Documenting progress on customer accounts in the JDE collection module.
  5. Collaborating with internal and external parties to facilitate effective collection of outstanding debits.
  6. Creating credit memos as required and offsetting credits against debits on customer accounts.
  7. Providing top-notch customer service to external customers and internal business partners.
  8. Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual Accounts Receivable ledger close.
  9. Escalating issues to manager and other Strategy staff when necessary.
  10. Maintaining compliance with all established internal controls.
  11. Ensuring adherence to Sarbanes Oxley key controls in areas of responsibility.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting positions (Accounts Receivable/Credit Control experience desired).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to handle high-volume account portfolios and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate persistency and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proven track record of handling confidential information.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Familiarity with working in multinational environments and dealing with internal and external customers.
