As a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator at ECCO, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the IT cloud end-to-end. Your mission will be to configure, implement, and manage the systems that comprise the underlying IT cloud platform.



This role will be responsible for the management of an efficient cloud infrastructure within IT and will constantly strive to achieve operational excellence, cost efficiency, and rock-solid stability and scalability.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Cloud Administration: Responsible for the administration, configuration, and platform management of the DTC IT Clouds (Azure and AWS).
  • Cloud Cost Management: Develop and implement FinOps best practices to manage and control cloud costs effectively.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design, deploy, and manage Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Windows Server Administration: Provide Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • System Security: Configure systems based on approved designs of the system and network security.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze resource usage to recommend/develop enhancements to system capabilities and performance.
  • Technology Evaluation: Compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.
  • Documentation: Document systems infrastructure for users, support, and consulting personnel, and developers.
  • Security Strategies: Configure, implement, and maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • IT Planning: Participates in planning for the continual upgrading of existing information technology and the introduction of new information technology to support the business.
  • Infrastructure Optimization:
  • Periodically reviews the performance, work nature, and load being placed on the cloud infrastructure and develops proposals for effectively addressing these issues.


Requirements:


  • Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Integrated Computing Environment: Experience with managing an integrated computing environment, networked environments, and network storage solutions.
  • Security Protocols: Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols.
  • MiddleWare and Infrastructure: Experience with middleware and infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Ability to operate within a collaborative team framework both in the workgroup and across IT Services.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Resource Management: Ability to manage shared resources and perform moderately complex tasks.
  • Quality and Deadline Orientation: Quality and deadline-oriented.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English at a proficient level.
