About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Controller to oversee accounting activities for Poland, Hungary, and Romania. This position will be based at our Accor Support Office in Warsaw, where you will manage a team of accountants and coordinate the month-end close process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and verifying the accuracy of postings made by the external accounting service provider
  • Supervising and coordinating the month-end close process, including AP (Payables Accounting Department), AR (Receivables Accounting Department), and GL (General Ledger Department)
  • Participating in monthly reporting and ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with Polish tax law and international accounting standards
  • Coordinating and supervising the work in the areas of AP, AR, and GL, as well as managing the Company's tax obligations and coordinating the mandatory audit
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in shared services or accounting services, preferably in a similar role
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting, taxes, and finance, with a strong understanding of Polish tax law and international accounting standards
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to perform and deliver under pressure, strong communication skills, and high work ethics and confidentiality

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a package of benefits and perks, including discounts for hotels worldwide, annual bonus based on your own performances, and much more.
