Job Summary

Hitachi Energy Services is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Team Lead to join our esteemed team in Kraków, Poland.

This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership and technical expertise in penetration testing, ensuring seamless coordination of security services and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Services Coordination: Manage the penetration testing queue, collaborate with managers, penetration testers, and engineers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Security Report Review: Conduct thorough reviews of security reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize security strategies.
  • Team Management: Lead a small group of penetration testers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance security services and processes aligning with industry best practices and standards.
  • Policy Development: Create, update, and verify security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Participate in the development of the organization's comprehensive security strategy.
Internal Project Management
  • Project Planning: Define project objectives, scope, and stakeholders' involvement.
  • Project Execution: Manage project execution, including budgeting and timelines.
  • Communication and Reporting: Lead coordination meetings, ensuring effective internal communication, and reporting progress.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with a strong focus on penetration testing and knowledge of security policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, time management, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
  • Proven experience in project management, including tracking progress, reporting results, and communicating with management and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Polish.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Relevant certifications in IT and cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) and project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
