Procurement Expert for Renewable Energy Projects:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert for Renewable Energy Projects to join our team at TN Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and implementing the supplier country strategy for the PL market embedded into the global strategy.

In this role, you will act as the Procurement Single Point of Contact for the Wind & PV projects you take responsibility for all procured packages – TSA, SMA, EPC and/or BoP contracts – during the development and construction phase. You will lead the optimization of our supply chain measures throughout the entire project life cycle from a project perspective.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the negotiation of large and complex project contracts (including TSA, SMA, EPC and/or BoP contracts) for PV & Wind projects in multidisciplinary and international teams.
  2. Develop, implement and manage purchasing strategies for these contracts.
  3. Support and implement the supplier country strategy for the PL market.
  4. Actively enable lessons learnt striving for optimization of the tendering process for the project development and construction contracts in line with local needs and in close collaboration with project stakeholders.
  5. Develop and implement framework agreements.
  6. Develop and implement an active supplier relationship management with the suppliers for PV & Wind Balance of Plant contracts.
  7. Develop and implement an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the development, construction and service department.
  8. Interface management with Global Category Procurement for PV modules and Wind Turbine Generators and other support functions like Finance, Risk Controlling and Legal.
  9. Conduct assessment of suppliers, subcontractors and consultants including audits and complaints management.
  10. Observe regularly the possibility to find new, alternative and more advanced vendors.
  11. Provide cost estimation for new photovoltaic plants and grid interconnection works.
  12. Prepare and review decision templates for the management including risk mitigation and cost-benefit analysis.

About You:

  1. You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the PV & Wind industry preferred within Europe, PL preferred.
  2. You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in management and processing of large and complex tenders for PV & Wind EPC contracts and/or for power plant / industry or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex).
  3. You have the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively and maintain key stakeholder relationships within suppliers.
  4. You have extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks, developing strategies for risk prevention/control.
  5. You hold successfully completed studies in engineering or business economics, additional legal qualification advantageous.
  6. You have the ability to negotiate multiple contract packages, manage stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  7. You possess intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures.
  8. You have very good communication skills (spoken and written) in Polish and English.
  9. You are willing to travel as well as the willingness for temporary stays abroad to support our international PV & Wind projects.
  10. You are a great team player.
  11. You have a strategic mindset as well as operational hands-on approach.
