Job Overview

The role of the Platform Technology Lead at Euroclear is a crucial part of our Innovation Enablement squad. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading the technical strategy for our DSH platform and maintaining its architectural framework. This position requires close collaboration with our engineering squad to ensure the platform's architecture aligns with strategic goals and technical standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Architectural Design: Develop and maintain the architectural framework and standards for the data platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Create and maintain capabilities maps to visually represent the platform's current and future capabilities.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide architectural guidance and support to the engineering squad during the implementation of the platform.
  • Ensure alignment between the platform's capabilities and the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Non-Functional Requirements: Own and define the non-functional requirements (NFRs) for the platform, ensuring they are met throughout the development and maintenance phases.
  • Map new use cases to the technology vision and evolution of the platform, ensuring that the platform continues to meet the needs of the market and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with other teams, including product management, enterprise architects, orchestration and engineering, to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Use the capabilities map as a communication tool to explain complex relationships and dependencies within the platform.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience as a system architect or similar role, with a focus on marketplace technologies and data enabled services.
  • Strong knowledge of marketplace ecosystems and their technical requirements, particularly for financial applications.
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in the context of financial data.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and financial security standards is a must.
