Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Manual Engineer to join our Desktop Applications team. As a QA Manual Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our applications used by hundreds of thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs to ensure thorough documentation and effective collaboration between QA engineers and software developers.
  • Design, maintain, and execute manual tests for Egnyte's desktop applications.
  • Collaborate with other QA engineers, developers, UX specialists, and product owners to provide feedback on potential risks or dependencies and suggest alternative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of effective test cases and execute them to ensure the quality of our applications.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of commercial experience in testing or a related field, preferably on desktop platforms (MacOS, Windows).
  • Motivated and innovative approach to testing.
  • Ability to create effective test cases and execute them.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies (functional and non-functional) and their application in real-life scenarios.
  • English skills that enable effective communication and task performance.
  • Passion for solving problems, improving processes, and advocating for quality.
  • Curiosity and strong attention to detail.
