The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting data-driven research and analysis on agricultural and livestock commodity markets. Your expertise will directly influence strategy and profitability in our dynamic, data-driven trading business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain supply and demand balance sheets
- Build and optimize quantitative models based on market technicals
- Optimally allocate risk to quantitative trading strategies in collaboration with traders
- Clean up and structure external and proprietary data to be used for internal research
- Conduct back-testing and validation processes of algorithmic trading strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of models before implementation
Requirements
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or another related quantitative field
- Experience in econometrics or fundamental analysis in the commodities space is a plus
- Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python, VBA, and Excel APIs
- Exposure to machine learning techniques desirable
- Communicate fluently in English – both written and verbal
