Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer and Automation Expert to lead our cloud engineering efforts.

  • This position involves developing and maintaining DevOps workflows using GitLab, Terraform, Packer, and Bash.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build, and BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain DevOps workflows using GitLab, Terraform, Packer, and Bash.
  2. Manage GCP services, including IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build, and BigQuery.
  3. Administer ElasticSearch at an infrastructure level.
  4. Automate build processes using Node.js.
  5. Work extensively with DBT to implement and manage data transformations.
  6. Utilize BigQuery for dataset management, schema definitions, and advanced SQL-based transformations.
  7. Write and understand Python code for various automation and data-processing tasks.
  8. Create reports using Looker Studio or Power BI.
  9. Perform scripting and group modifications in Firestore.
  10. Collaborate with a small team to improve data infrastructure, security, and automation.
  11. SQL expertise, especially BigQuery's SQL dialect.
  12. DevOps experience with GitLab, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
  13. GCP proficiency, including IAM, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
  14. English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
