We require an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Luxoft.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying a strategic data store system.

This system performs overnight data loading from multiple source systems and runs batch processing to conduct certification checks and deliver reports to stakeholders according to strict SLAs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing new functionalities and supporting existing Oracle SQL/PLSQL code;
  • Java development and support for existing applications;
  • Tuning existing code, implementing new features, and enhancements to the production system;
  • Maintaining technical documentation;
  • Participating in meetings and discussions with customers and working closely with technical leads, analysts, and developers;
  • Troubleshooting performance, concurrency, and functional problems;

Languages:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficient in Java programming language;
  • Familiarity with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database design;
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies;
