Job Description

As an OS Kernel Engineer at Intel Software, you will be part of a team that enables amazing computing experiences across CPU, GPU, and FPGA architectures.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Designs, develops, maintains, tests, debugs, optimizes, secures, and evaluates OS Kernel and system software.
  2. Works closely with worldwide teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  3. Leverages knowledge in software architecture, design, debug, development, operating system internals, and silicon on platform features.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Software development/integration/validation experience.
  • Domain knowledge in the areas of Linux kernel, hypervisors, and open source operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE, or others.
