Egress System Specialist Job Description

Summary:

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Egress System Specialist to join our team at AAR.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on egress systems, removing and installing egress systems, and ensuring egress explosive cartridge activated devices (CAD) and pressure activated devices (PAD) are safe and disarmed prior to performing maintenance.
  • The Egress System Specialist will implement maintenance and safety policies for egress systems, maintain all necessary egress and egress equipment on inducted F-16 aircraft, and ensure pilot ejection systems are precisely maintained in perfect working condition.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4 years of related experience on USAF fighter aircraft and experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagrams, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Desired: Completed Technical or Military School Training.
  • Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with Airframe.
  • Ability to work in an austere environment and to perform work in a hangar or aviation field environment.
