About the Role

Kuehne + Nagel's Knowledge Center for General Ledger and Reporting in Warsaw is responsible for all European countries. You will be a key member of the team, providing financial services to all European countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a reliable and timely Record-To-Report process, adhering to Group standards and local legal requirements.
  • Provide constructive input on R-to-R processes and suggest continuous improvements.
  • Control all accounting transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and General Ledger reconciliations.
  • Oversee financial administration, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Provisions, VAT/Taxes, and periodical closing.
  • Process incoming invoices, collaborating with departments to resolve discrepancies and improve the P2P process.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior accountants, supporting onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Cooperate closely with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate data provision.
Requirements
  • University / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in an international environment in a similar role is welcomed.
  • Knowledge and experience in accounting process migration, including preparation of documentation, is an advantage.
  • Understanding of IFRS accounting and reporting, with a willingness to develop further in this area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English and Polish (both written and spoken).
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
