About the Job

The Global Material Compliance Manager at JTI plays a critical role in ensuring the company's products comply with worldwide regulations and standards.

Key Tasks

  1. Provide scientific and technical interpretation of global regulations affecting JTI products, including tobacco, reduced-risk products, and electrical consumer goods.
  2. Work closely with Product & Regulatory Affairs Agile Operations, Corporate Affairs, and Legal teams to monitor and address worldwide technical standards and regulations.
  3. Perform assessments of new ingredients and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product launches in new markets, supporting the JT Group ingredient evaluation program.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate records of ingredient-related details in the SRA Secure Database, making them accessible to the Reporting and Systems team for regulatory purposes.
  5. Analyze risks associated with suppliers from the SRA perspective and provide guidance on mitigating those risks during interactions with suppliers.
  6. Lead material testing efforts with AT&PA to verify compliance of JTI products and ensure accurate representation of materials and ingredients.
  7. Oversee material qualification processes, including input in Appollo and SAP approvals, while collaborating with GIP and R&D teams.
