Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join our Irish client's team in the cybersecurity industry. The primary objectives of this project include working on current microservices, supporting existing teams, and gradually improving the client's product portfolio functionality.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities: Develop new microservices while supporting existing teams in further development, propose innovative solutions to encountered challenges, identify and rectify bottlenecks, and ensure the quality, stability, and maintainability of the codebase.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, test engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Golang: At least 3 years of experience with proficiency in Golang and prior experience with PHP, Python, or other languages.
  • Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
  • Database Experience: Previous experience working with relational databases, specifically CockroachDB.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Concepts: Familiarity with concepts like GitOps and DevOps, as well as knowledge of network protocols (SMTP, DNS).
