Job Description

Adtran Networks sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join its team in developing the Mosaic One Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. This cloud-based system aggregates information from various management and orchestration platforms, broadband access, and consumer in-home devices to provide targeted workflows and AI-driven insights for our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and continually improving the product using new technologies and best agile practices. They will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the product meets the needs of our customers.

The Software Engineer will be a member of a full-stack team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Adtran products. The ideal candidate will have experience with software design, implementation, and debugging, including inter-process communication and multi-threading techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new software modules and enhancements to existing software.
  • Perform feasibility studies of needed software development.
  • Document the design, including features definition and architecture.
  • Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews.
  • Plan and perform unit and system level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements.
  • Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
  • Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.
  • Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, computer information science, electrical engineering, or equivalent education.
  • At least 6 years of active experience.
  • Experience with software design, implementation, and debugging, including inter-process communication and multi-threading techniques.
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with testing and development tools such as pyTest.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud deployments such as AWS.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities.
  • At least B1 English proficiency level.
