Our Senior DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving our DevOps practices forward. This individual will be responsible for introducing and advancing best DevOps practices, leveraging public cloud solutions, automating infrastructure, and ensuring robust and scalable automation solutions.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading major DevOps projects, encompassing planning, execution, and delivery. Managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations is crucial.
  • Providing technical leadership in developing infrastructure strategies and DevOps practices. Offering technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders is also essential.
  • Mentoring and supporting other team members to foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on Gitlab. Enhancing these pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable build, test, and deployment processes is vital.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and leading initiatives to enhance DevOps workflows.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools for deployment, monitoring, and automation.
  • Implementing security controls and practices to protect data and applications.
  • Maintaining existing developer and client environments.
  • Diagnosing and solving various issues related to application environment and performance (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, NVIDIA GPUs).
  • Creating solutions that enhance the developer experience.
  • Collaborating with Developers, Administrators, Product Owners - experts in the fields of CGI, Data Science, AI, Computer Vision.
  • Creating software documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps release management
  • Technology understanding of Docker, Git, GitLab, and one of the following AWS/GCP
  • Experience in similar position at mature organization
  • Practical Linux skills and scripting capabilities in one of the following Bash/Python
  • Motivation, strong ownership, and drive to get things done
  • Ability to read and write documentation in English (B2/C1 level)
