Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Cash Management Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for executing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient payment postings, and maximizing cash flow.

1. Payment Processing: Batch, process, and post payments in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and maximize cash flow.
2. Cash Clarification: Resolve any payments that require manual application and clarify discrepancies.
3. Accounting Support: Assist with accounting department deadlines during peak periods.
4. Daily Banking: Process daily banking into the cash book and general ledger.
5. Direct Debit Management: Manage and reconcile the direct debit system to meet monthly deadlines.
6. Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations on the company's main bank accounts.
7. Query Resolution: Ensure prompt resolution of allocated queries and tickets, maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• Fluent written and spoken English skills.
• Experience in a similar finance or accountancy role, preferably with ERP system knowledge, particularly Oracle.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• An economics or finance-related educational background is highly valued.
