The finance team at Dorel Juvenile Europe is a dynamic and experienced group of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality financial services to support the growth and success of our company. We are seeking a Chief Accountant to join our team in Poland.

Job Description

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, assisting with budget preparations, and publishing financial statements. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, tracing book entries, and reconciling financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records: processing accounting data meticulously, ensuring journals and ledgers are accurate and aligned with established procedures.
  • Traceable booking entries: recording all financial transactions promptly and systematically to maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Reconciling financial statements: regularly comparing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring final balances are accurate.
  • Data analysis preparation: organizing and categorizing financial data to facilitate meaningful analysis and decision-making.
Your Profile
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar with full knowledge of local tax legislation.
  • 5-10 years' experience in similar positions.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Background with MS Office - Excel (mandatory).
  • Knowledge with Power BI (appreciated).
