About the role

Our Technology team is one of the best in the world, driving our engine forward with innovative solutions. We're not just fixing legacy systems – we're building world-class financial products from scratch.

You'll be working alongside talented engineers to create award-winning apps and banking backends that will be used by millions globally.

We're looking for a Python expert who can write high-quality code and build complex novel solutions end-to-end. You'll be part of our journey to create a revolutionary Human Capital Management (HCM) tool for companies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create new features using Python and Django to transform old-school people processes into user-friendly digital experiences
  • Write scalable and maintainable code following community standards
  • Support multi-tenancy while ensuring adequate security and data isolation
  • Refactor and optimize existing implementation
  • Create reusable software components contributing to the overall platform
  • Promote a culture of product quality by identifying bugs and issues before users do
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Python as primary language
  • Academic background in a STEM subject
  • Fluency in Python, SQL, and other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience with Django Framework
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience with API development & integration
  • Practical understanding of distributed systems
  • Ability to write concurrent code in IO/CPU bound situations
  • Experience with Docker, K8s, Ansible, CI, monitoring, and alerting
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with prototyping and sketching
  • Multiple side projects or open source contributions
  • Exposure to GCP
  • Experience with Web Projects or SaaS platforms
