Polish Public Television is seeking a Newsroom Editor to join its online news team.

This role requires a skilled editor with expertise in selecting stories, mentoring journalists, and participating in editorial meetings.

The ideal candidate will have extensive English-language experience in print media or news wires, excellent written and spoken English skills, and a keen sense of language and style used in English media.

As Newsroom Editor, you will be responsible for editing articles, mentoring journalists, and participating in editorial meetings.

• You will work closely with a team of experienced editors and journalists to select stories for the website.
• You will provide constructive feedback on articles and offer guidance on how to improve writing skills.

We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual who can work under time pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

A strong understanding of Central European politics, history, and culture is highly desirable.
