We are looking for an experienced Build and Release Engineer to help us improve the build and deployment pipeline for our games and tools. The successful candidate will be part of our Engineering team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient build and release processes.
This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles and practices, including Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Responsibilities will include analyzing build system performance, troubleshooting and resolving build and deployment issues, keeping the build tools up to date, reviewing proposed solutions and code written by peers, updating pipeline documentation and configuration guides, and taking responsibility for maintaining and extending platform tools.
The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with development and debugging in C++, good grasp on Computer Science fundamentals, familiarity with version control systems, strong analytical & troubleshooting skills, and confident English language skills.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development and build engineering;
- Deep understanding of software development principles and practices;
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Proficient in C++ programming language;
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Perforce, Git, SVN).
