Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Threat Validator/Technical Support Engineer to join our TechOps team and contribute to a dynamic AdTech project.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating cyber threats based on data from our internal systems, ensuring the quality of our product performance, and monitoring and responding to incidents with daily reporting of discovered findings to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and scripting languages, as well as basic knowledge of database management and networking concepts. They will also possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review identified malicious attacks and perform expert analysis on attribution to certain Supply Side Platforms, Demand Side Platforms, Ad Servers, and other advertising platforms.
  • Perform data analysis based on real-time alerts and distinguish bot attacks from real user traffic.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation containing useful information for understanding the details and specifics of the work and sharing unique knowledge and validation techniques with co-workers.
  • Cooperate with the US-based engineering team to co-author Product improvements about the identification of malicious ad creatives and their attribution.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting about the work status.

Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Bash) for an ability to read code.
  • Basic Level of database management skills (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities to diagnose technical issues.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in configurations and operations.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines and SLAs.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Would be a plus

  • Understanding of incident management and response procedures.
  • Understanding of the overall advertising technology ecosystem, including the roles of ad networks, exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Kibana, Imply, Datadog).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
  • Experience with task and incident tracking systems such as Jira.
