About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to head our Data Platforms team at GPC Global Technology Center. As a trusted expert in data engineering and technology strategy, you will be responsible for architecting and executing our unified data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement our data and analytics strategy, including modernizing legacy data technologies and implementing new data platforms.
  • Lead the development of our data and analytics technologies, including data warehousing, data modeling, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement technology platforms that meet business needs and drive innovation.
  • Manage a team of engineers to develop best-in-class solutions and implement agile methodologies to increase pace of solution delivery and customer-backed problem solving.
  • Responsible for delivery of the platform and overall engineering accountability for the Data and Analytics Domain.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering & technology.
  • 5+ years' experience in Data and BI engineering / Data warehousing and Data modeling.
  • 2+ years' experience in leadership role.
  • Consistent track record of leadership, teamwork, and delivering high impact results.
  • Extensive experience building enterprise grade systems/applications supporting business priorities.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Google Cloud, Google Big Query, Informatica IICS, CDC replication, Power BI and Qlik Sense technologies.
  • Ability to attract, motivate and retain world-class IT talent.
  • Strong fiscal prudence to maximize technology investments against critical business priorities across the enterprise.
