High-Performance Elasticsearch Engineer for Scalable Cloud Infrastructure

The Hybrid Computing Platform department is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Observability Specialist. In this exciting position, you will be responsible for providing an observability platform where logs and metrics can be visualized efficiently.

As part of the newly established Observability team within our Hybrid Computing Platform department, you will work closely with product owners, technology architects, and other specialists to ensure the development, publication, and maintenance of infrastructure products. This is a dynamic work environment with an agile setup, offering opportunities for growth and professional development.

Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining different products from the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana), managing and maintaining a large Elasticsearch cluster, monitoring and troubleshooting issues, creating and maintaining Kibana visualizations and dashboards, working with development teams to integrate Logstash with various data sources, optimizing Elasticsearch cluster performance and scalability, staying up-to-date with new Elasticsearch releases and features, and providing out-of-hours support on a rotational basis.

We envision a candidate with a solid understanding of search and data analysis concepts, excellent problem-solving skills, experience with Elasticsearch data monitoring, troubleshooting, modeling, and indexing, knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD, proficiency in programming languages like Python, Bash, and Groovy, and hands-on experience with Agile methodology management tools like JIRA and Confluence. You will thrive in an international environment, have a degree in computer science or engineering, and speak English fluently.
