We are seeking a skilled Localization Games Tester to join our dynamic team at TransPerfect. As a Localization Games Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the linguistic quality and accuracy of localized content in videogames. Your responsibilities will include testing video games to identify and isolate localization issues, updating text files, following test cases, and reporting issues found during testing.
You will work closely with colleagues to resolve issues affecting the localization of the game, utilizing your excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality testing processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of videogames to identify and isolate localization issues.
- Update text files with correct information to address grammar, spelling, consistency, and translation errors.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues affecting the game's localization.
- Ensure timely completion of test cases and checklists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in software localization or quality assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
